2014 Range Rover Sport

One of the vehicles that will expand the Land Rover lineup over the next seven years is a seven-seater Range Rover Sport. The LR4 is currently the only Land Rover to offer a seven-seat package, even though it's not exactly roomy. The present Range Rover Sport sits on the same platform as the LR4, but being two inches shorter overall and having a wheelbase 5.6 inches shorter, it provides only just enough room for second-row passengers. That will change upon the introduction of the 2014 Range Rover Sport that uses the same platform as the recently introduced 2014 Range Rover. The new big brother is eight inches longer Read more and comment!

2004 Volkswagen golf r32 mk4

Today's car of the day is a2004 Volkswagen golf r32 mk4. A stock R32 emits a sound so memorable that it is difficult to imagine what a highly modified version would be capable of sounding like. The guys at DM Motorsport still managed to keep the particular sound of the VR6 while tweaking it to extract more power. The V6 3.2-liter 24-valve from a R32 would have been sufficient to give it what it needed to go very fast but of course that wasn’t enough. The technicians installed a GT4088R turbocharger, a turbine designed for engines over 700 horses. With the Read more and comment!

Around 350,000 of those same models will also be inspected for a faulty electric water pump. In some cases, the motor driving the pump could stop, causing the electric motor to overheat and stop functioning while being driven. Toyota has not received any Read more and comment!

Engine cooling system

It's hot and it wants to get even hotter. That's because the most basic fuction of a car's internal combustion engine is to transform heat energy into effective power. But, unfortunately all of this heat cannot be used for motive power. About 25% is used for power, while 45% of the heat generated escapes as exhaust and frictional losses. The remaining 30% is transferred into the engine components. The heat that is absorbed into the engine must be discharged, or else the engine will overheat and fail. So to protect the engine against overheating a sophisticated cooling system regulates the engine Read more and comment!
