2013 Nissan Sentra

The new Sentra gets a more sophisticated look and upscale touches such as LED-accented headlights and taillights. Nissan characterized the redesign of the Sentra as the "most revolutionary" in the nameplate's 30-year history. The Sentra targets the Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Kia Forte and Toyota Corolla, among others. The 2013 model gets a new 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 130 horsepower. The engine is linked to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). It is the only engine in the lineup for now. The base 2013 Sentra returns 30 mpg in city driving and 39 mpg on the highway, said Nissan. The EPA has not yet posted fuel economy numbers on the 2013 Sentra.
