Return Policy

All returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA#). To obtain a RA# follow these 5 easy steps: 

  1. Read Section 1.0 and Section 2.0 below for our policies;
  2. Create an account or login using the link at the top right of your screen;
  3. Once logged in, click on “Trouble Tickets”;
  4. In the space provided, described the reason for your return, and provide us with your name, a phone number you may be reached at, and your email address used at checkout;
  5. Wait for one of our friendly staff to provide you with return shipping instructions and procedures within 48 hours;

NOTE: In order for us to help you with your return, it is very important that you provide us with the exact information requested in step 4. If the information is incomplete we wont be able to identify your purchase and issue a refund.

Section 1.0 will FULLY refund any order that:

  1. Contained the wrong parts (you did not get what you ordered)
  2. That consists of a defective part
  3. Was damaged during the shipping process

(If you do not meet these conditions please read on to section 2.0)

In the event of any of the situations described above, MTL AutoParts will pay the return shipping fees. Once the item is received, our friendly staff with examine the return and issue a full refund or ship out the correct part(s) depending on your request.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All returned items must be:

  1. i.   In their original packaging;
  2. ii.  Not have not been used, installed, or disassembled
  3. iii. Are not damaged due to improper installation;
  4. iv. Do not have missing parts, hardware or instructions;

If the conditions listed above are not met, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or no refund at all.

Section 2.0

In the event that you return a part(s) that did not meet the section 1.0 conditions, for example you ordered the wrong part or no longer need the part you ordered, you will be responsible for the return shipping and your returned item(s) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee net of initial shipping charges incurred by MTL Auto Parts. We strongly recommend that you carefully read the product notes before making a purchase.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: MTL-AutoParts will refund or replace any defective or non-defective auto part(s). However, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% net of initial shipping charge incurred by MTL Auto Parts. You are responsible to pay for the return shipping in the event of a return or exchange (defective and non-defective). If you receive the wrong part(s), MTL-AutoParts will pay for return freight charges.  

Additional Costs


MTL-AutoParts will not refund any labor costs incurred by you or the installer of the products purchased at this website.  Furthermore, we are not responsible for towing expenses, or rental car expenses caused by the use of wrong or defective parts during installation.

Cancellation of Sale


Please note that all orders are electronically processed and forwarded to our warehouses immediately upon confirmation of the order. Contact customer service immediately in order to cancel an order. In the event that you want to return your entire order or part of your order please read our return policy above. You are responsible to pay for the return shipping in the event of a return.
